1. A review of the breakfast by Gossamar was a big success. We had 70-80 people in attendance.

6. In order to more fully represent our club membership demographics, we will expand our club meetings to include a few more cities in 2011. Club meetings will coincide with events scheduled in that geographic region.

1. An excellent turn-out for the meeting....with over 20-geocachers in attendance

2. A review of the summer picnic had almost 80-caches in attendance and all had a great time until the weather moved in. Special thanks again to Smiley Guy for organizing the event and to all those whom supported the event as well.

3. The BYOT event was also well attended to wish the future newlyweds health and prosperity...

4. Brandon(web-guy) wanted to remind members to email him suggestions for a cache of the month high-light to be featured on the website.

5. Moonshine...Cybret gave an introduction the the newer cachers on what a moonshine event was all about. The event will be held on 9/4/10, see webpage for details.

6. Racer will host a breakfast event in Urbana on 8/21/10 at Ryans. Great food and and a Great price...see webpage for details.

7. Due to the number of Urbana cachers in attendance, a suggestion was made to have a september ice cream event. Watch for details to be published soon.

8. There are some 10/10/10 events starting to be published...

9. Gossamar will host a breakfast event in bloomington during the first part of November. More details are to follow.

10. Gossamar also made special mention to all of the new cachers at the event and gave an over-view of what CIGA stands for, how to become a member, and how the dues are spent.

11. Racer reminded cachers to put the order in for the new CIGA t-shirts. Logo is the same but with a new color. Previous T-shirts ordered have held up very well with all of the washings and abuse that cachers have given them.

12. Next club meeting will be held on 9/26/10 in Peoria.

2/6/10

1. Today was the first "rotating" club meeting held in Champaign. We had an excellent turnout, with 12 registered geocachers and others totalling about 20 at Panera.

2. Introductions were made around the room and Gossamar presented a history lesson on how CIGA was started and how the club operates today.

3. A review of upcoming events was started by Racer and are as follows:

2/27/10--Searching Simpsons will be sponsoring a Pizza event in Springfield and will be a lunch event. Watch for more details as the event page is published.

3/6/10--Peoria Bill will be sponsoring a breakfast event in Peoria. Past events have always been very successful due to the quality caching located in and around Peoria. Event is posted and is GC22Z9T.

3/27/10--Racer is sponsoring an event at Allerton Park near Monticello. Watch for more details as the event page is published.

4/3/10---Chief Illini217 will be hosting a CITO event at Wolf Creek State Park. Watch for more details as the event page is published.

4/9-11/10---MOGA hosted by the SLAGA club. Racer and Gossamar provided some indepth knowledge to those people attending thier first MOGA. Cell phone reception, camping accomodations, food, what to wear, what to bring were among the many topics covered for having a successful trip to Mark Twain Lake. MOGA is the premier MEGA event within the central part of the country.

June...Smiley Guy discussed the summer picnic which is largely sponsored by CIGA. CIGA provides the main course for the event. A date will be announced later this spring.

November----Gossamar will once again be hosting a late fall breakfast in Bloomington.

4. A discussion on CIGA membership was presented by Gossamar. References were made to the membership letter posted on the website and Facebook.

5. Next club meeting will be in Peoria on 4/25/10
