1. Today we had 15-geocachers in attendance...an
excellent showing
2. A review of the Breakfast event in
November sponsored by Gossamar had about 60-people in attendance, another
successful event and will most likely become an annual event.

March...two events...A breakfast by Peoria Bill in
Peoria within the first two weeks, and Racer will have an event toward the end
of the month at Allerton Park near monticello

Park...Monroe City, MO
4. There was discussion in regards to moving the
club meetings around to various locations within the CIGA region to draw more
membership. There has been a marked increase in new geocacher activity in
the southern locations of the CIGA region that could benefit both the newer
geocachers and CIGA. Racer reported that most new geocachers in the urbana
area did not know of CIGA and she volunteered to attend an informal meet-n-greet
to inform them of CIGA and hear some of thier questions.
5. Gossamar will write a letter to send to email
addresses within the CIGA database as a part of the membership drive for
2010. The letter will be drafted and sent before the end of
December.
6. Two new board members were elected to fill
vacancies. Congratulations to RACER and NOTO45
7.. The next club meeting will be on 2/7/10 at
a location TBA. The CIGA group is looking at the Urbana
area.
